A two-component neutral-cure silicone sealant designed for the secondary seal in insulating glass unit (IGU) fabrication, working in combination with a butyl primary seal to form a complete dual-seal system. Upon curing, it forms a high-strength, highly elastic seal layer with excellent weatherability, UV resistance, and low moisture vapor transmission. The product is developed in reference to the performance benchmarks of ASTM C1184, with the goal of safeguarding the long-term airtightness and inert gas retention of IGUs.
Well-suited for standard IGUs, Low-E insulating glass, argon-filled units, and structural IGUs used in structural glazing and curtain wall applications. The formulation is compatible with mainstream two-component automatic dispensing machines, offering consistent mixing behavior and a controlled working time — ideal for continuous operation on automated IGU production lines.
